Kerrie Ann Padilla Smith, age 47, passed away from this earth on Monday, October 7, 2024 at her home in Snowflake surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 22, 1976 to Jake and Evelyn Padilla in Holbrook, Arizona.
On July 31, 1999 Kerrie married the love of her life and best friend, Bryan Smith. They have 2 children together, Kallie & Tucker Smith.
Kerrie was employed at Martinez Management where she enjoyed working with Abe and Sharon Martinez. She became family to her coworkers, who enjoyed her devoted friendship for over 20 years. In 2022 Kerrie began working for Navopache Electric.
Kerrie and Bryan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. They loved hosting fun-filled New Years Eve parties which included painting along with Bob Ross videos. She would welcome all into her home and treated everyone like family, if you ever left hungry it was nobody's fault but your own.
Kerrie was very active and involved in her children's lives. She supported them in all their sporting activities and horseback riding. She was so very proud of them and their accomplishments. Most recently, it was her grandson who brought her greatest joy. Kerrie always loved baking her own sugar cookies, among many other things for the holidays.
Kerrie was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, "granny" and friend. Her outgoing and sometimes loud personality will forever be missed but never forgotten. Kerrie's children and grandson will forever keep her memory alive with everything she loved from Christmas decorations and baking to her love of horses and baseball.
Kerrie leaves behind her husband of 25 years, Bryan Smith; parents, Jake & Evelyn Padilla; children, Tucker and Kallie Smith; brother, Matt (Emily) Padilla; nephews, Jacob, Jarrod, Justin and Bearette; nieces, Shelby, Jocelyn and Lincoln; one grandson Ropyr who she loved. She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Susan & Dwayne Smith.
