Kelley Jeanne Covert

Kelley Jeanne Covert (Mama Cove, Kel, Lil’ Buddy, Mom, Sister) passed away on October 3, 2021 at 4:20 P.M. at age 60. Momma Cove was born in Salinas, California on October 22, 1960. In October of 1984 she married her husband Robert and they would then proceed to move to Show Low, Arizona and raise their 3 children together, Jason, Justin and Cheyenne who would later build their own families blessing Kelley with daughter-in-laws Janna and Shelby, and son-in-law Devon. Jason and Janna gave her first 3 of 4 granddaughters Allie, Alexis and Ava. Justin and Shelby gave her the blessing of Teigen, her only grandson and Teal another granddaughter. She is survived through her siblings Janet, Tammy, Jerry, Scooter and Heather. Also through her abundance of bonus children, The Zcrew: Rebekka, Rachel, Tia, Jordan, Devin, Kristyn, Dakota and Dallys (lil’ buddy).

A true workaholic, Kelley would find her greatest reward working as the Transportation Director at Show Low Unified School District. After working hard her whole life she finally got to retire and boy did she soak up every bit of that blessing she could, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and family. She loved a good BBQ cookout, bonfire, and beer. Anyone who knew Kelley knew that she was at her happiest when she was fishing on the lake or camping in the woods, a true mountain girl at heart. Kelley enjoyed cooking for any and everyone and the Green Bay Packers were her absolute favorite football team. Kelley was a devoted mother, sister, wife and friend. Celebration’s of life will take place at the house of Kelley and Robert on October 23^rd starting at 1:00 P.M. Come and go as you please and lets “Keep the party going” as Kel would say.

We are asking for no flowers, but donations to the Covert family. At the celebration there will be a fund jar to place them in.
