Keith Douglas Tounget of Show Low, Arizona peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones on March 28, 2018 at his home in Show Low. He was 74. Keith was born to the late Claude and Irma Tounget on May 22, 1943 in Iowa.
Keith was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Okinawa, Kuwait, Desert Storm and 2 tours in Vietnam before being Honorably Discharged. Following his time in the services he began working for Motorolla (now General Dynamics) for 20 years before his retirement. He was awarded a certificate of achievement by General Dynamics for his outstanding service and contributions to the company. While employed with them he served in the communication field having traveled the world working on and constructing ground and mobile command stations.
Keith was a friend to everyone and was always willing to help. He was very giving and kind hearted. He enjoyed fishing, camping and most of all going to his beloved car races. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is survived by his son, Travis Tounget (Sherry Caldwell) of Show Low; grandchildren, Jason Tounget and Jessica Caldwell; sisters, Kathleen (Gary) Hall and Claudia (Dan) Stock of Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow at the Show Low Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with full military honor and beside his beloved wife, Patty.
