Celebrating the Life of June Ballard Reidhead
Join us in honoring the remarkable life of June Ballard Reidhead, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on June 29, 1930, in the charming town of Snowflake, Arizona, June was the ninth of ten children born to Charles and Belva Willis Ballard.
She grew up in Snowflake and graduated from Snowflake High School in 1948. She touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kind spirit and unwavering love.
June met Jack Reidhead and they were married in 1949, when they settled down in Heber, Arizona for the next 75 years. June dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving home for her husband and children. As a devoted homemaker, June poured her heart and soul into raising her family and nurturing those around her. After the children were older, she went to work for the Heber School District where she worked until she retired.
She and Jack were lifelong active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in many positions. Her love for music was evident in her service as she served in various music-related callings. She also loved being in the Temple where she spent countless hours serving others and working in the office.
Sadly, June's beloved husband Jack passed away in 2004, but she remained a pillar of strength and love for her family. She is survived by her three children: Charles Reidhead (Renee' Calvert) of Tempe, Nancy Noonan (David Tellez) of Heber-Overgaard, and Lanny Reidhead (Robin Paridis) of Heber-Overgaard, as well as 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Nadine Wynder of Cardston, Alberta, Canada.
Services in celebration of June's life will include a funeral service, held on October 25, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Heber LDS Chapel (1858 AZ-260, Heber, AZ 85928), preceded by a Public Viewing at 9:00 am. Finally, a Graveside Service will be held on October 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery, (300 S 4th West St, Snowflake, AZ 85937).
