Joyce Elaine Dye, 75, died September 26, 2019 at her home in Vernon. She was born November 5, 1943 in Petoskey, Michigan and attended school in Dexter, Michigan where she then joined the United States Marines.

Joyce met Don Conrad and they were married. During their union they had 2 daughters, Tammy and Kim. Joyce later married Harold Bates until they divorced but remained life-long friends. She then married Kenny Dye.

Joyce loved her family, but if you truly knew her, her cats and treasures came first. She was a hardworking stubborn lady who enjoyed her motorcycle and rocks.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim Bass of Grand Junction, Colorado; grandchildren, Kristy Thomas (Ray) of St. Johns, Arizona, Robert Rose (Nikki) of Show Low, Arizona, Kenny Conrad (Tiffany) of Show Low and Tanna Conrad (Travis) of Vernon; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Megana Koch (Lester) of Michigan and Beck Milne (Robert) of Michigan and dear friend, Harold Bates of Kansas City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Rose; granddaughter, Sandy Salley; parents, Paul E. and Betty J. (Holland) Whitaker.

Private services will be held.
