Joseph C. Cromwell

Joseph C. Cromwell passed away on January 7, 2021 at Banner University, in Phoenix, Az, at the age of 68. He leaves behind his wife, Darla Cromwell; their daughter, Tiffany Martinez; and their son, Neil Cromwell.

Jody was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Az. on January 20, 1952 to father, Harry O. Cromwell and mother, Esther Cromwell. He grew up in a loving family with sister, Sherry Cromwell and brother, Larry Cromwell (wife, Laura).

Jody married Darla Stuart on August 14, 1971.  Jody and Darla lived in Lakeside, Az. and raised their two children, Tiffany and Neil.

Abe and Tiffany Martinez were married and had a daughter, Aspen, and a son, Ace. Neil and Robin had a son, Basil Cromwell. Jody always stated that having grandchildren was the second greatest blessing in life, next to our children. He will always walk beside them all. They will have one of the greatest guardian angels to watch over them.

Jody worked at the sawmill in McNary Az. in 1970. He then transferred to Navopache Electric Co-op, until he retired at age 62. Jody was a driven employee with a dedicated work ethic. He also helped at his father's ranch in Snowflake, Az. almost every weekend. He loved his family with all his heart. Jody loved the outdoors, especially anything to do with fishing and hunting. His favorite was duck hunting with his dog, Oso.

Jody exemplified truth, was a man with a kind soul, loyal to all, with a free spirit and an immeasurable love for Darla, his children, and grandchildren. The world was and always will be a better place because of him. We thank God for the many blessings he left that touched each and everyone in his life. Jody will never be forgotten. He will live in our hearts, minds and souls for eternity. 

A Viewing will be held  on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 2:00-3:00 at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 N. 9th St., in  Show Low, Arizona. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
