Jonathan Miller

May 30, 1984 — November 29, 2024

Jonathan Alan Miller (5/30/1984-11/29/2024)

Jonathan was always wearing clothing from the brand "A**holes Live Forever", which obviously means that he never was one to begin with, no matter how hard he tried to convince everyone he was.

Jonathan "Agez" Alan Miller, 40, born in Apple Valley, CA, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Show Low, AZ on November 29, 2024. Jon's tragic passing comes as a shock to his family & loved ones who are still reeling at the loss. He was blessed to make it to 40, but he was taken way too soon.

Jon was born in Apple Valley in 1984 to Lori Zajicek, who knew from the moment that he was born that he would always have something to say & never be quiet about it. He attended Wells Elementary, Sequoia Middle School, Lone Hill Middle School, & graduated from Chaparral High School. Later in his life, he learned to work as a cook, many construction jobs, other different jobs throughout his years, to working as Public Works on their special project crew at the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside & moving from there to Perkins Cinders & Aggregates as a concrete truck driver with a CDL license. He took pride in his work & loved talking about what he did at work that day to his wife & children.

Jon met his partner in life, Aprille, around the year 2012. They spent many exciting times together before deciding to become two against the universe & expand their lives to have a child & settle down. They moved to Arizona in 2019 & started a whole new life together. The two were married on Halloween of 2020 during a beautiful full moon.

Jon had been previously married in 2005 to Destiny Rose & they had an amazing son together, Lyrik Miller. Fast forward - Jonathan and Aprille couldn't wait to start a family of their own, and their children meant the world to them. Shade Miller was born November 3, 2015, & Orion Miller was born July 12, 2017.

Jon had a soft spot for the animals, treating them like the valuable family members they were. He left behind "his girl" as he called her, Winnifred & the other family pets, Hendrix the cat (which he said he didn't want, but ended up falling in love with him), & Seven.

Jon has a COUNTLESS number of friends, many who he considered his brothers and sisters. He will be missed by way too many to count.

Everyone who knew Jon knew how much he loved music. He grew up playing the trumpet and even participated in Jazz Band, to playing the piano & guitar. As he got a little older, he got ahold of a microphone & blossomed to become the inspiring & widely respected emcee in the drum & bass scene, as well as the world of hip hop - AGEZ.

Jon will always be remembered for his charm, friendliness, comedic relief, and the way that he always lit up whatever room he walked into. We'll always imagine hearing him crack a joke & making us all laugh one more time. He truly uplifted anyone who occupied the same space he was in. We couldn't have asked for a better son, brother, friend, father, partner...& we will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him & the music that he created (MC AGEZ, TH3 SHADOW P3OPL3, DJ K3VORKIAN). He really was a one-of-a-kind soul, & everyone who has had the chance to meet him or get to know him is truly blessed. There will never be another Jonathan Miller aka AGEZ.

Jonathan was preceded in death by Marjorie Miller, Theodore Thomas Zajicek, Ronald Henry Zajicek, Anthony Milan Zajicek, & Amelia Rita Zajicek.
