Jim led a full and beautiful life. He was loved by many for his kindness and mentorship, a trustworthy and loyal friend always there to help others in need. He was a fierce patriot and army veteran who deeply loved his country and understood the need to stand up for our liberties.
The eldest son in a farm family of 4, Jim started working to help out at a very early age. Jim later served in the army and was stationed in Korea, not during the war, he was quick to clarify, and afterwards started his own family. He loved to hunt and fish, supporting wildlife efforts with a hands-on approach. Jim enjoyed cars his entire life. Even as he worked a successful, decade's long career in the aerospace industry, he also restored classic cars. His favorites included '50 Fords. He loved baseball, especially going to games with friends.
Jim moved to Show Low twenty some years ago where he enjoyed living on the mountain among the deer, elk, and wild horses. Bears, not so much. He is survived by his wife Nancy and son Bill.
