Janet Champlin

Janet Champlin was born January 16, 1947 in Snowflake, Arizona to Denver & Stella Nichols. She passed away November 21, 2022 at Hospice of the Valley--Lund Home, in Gilbert, Arizona.

She spent her childhood years in Snowflake and after graduating from High School she attended college in Flagstaff and Tucson, where she met her husband, F.B. "Champ" Champlin. After their marriage they returned to Snowflake where they lived the remainder of their lives. Janet taught school for over 20 years at Taylor Elementary School, where she was able to teach hundreds of children the basic tools they would need as they began getting their education.

Janet's hobbies included crocheting, knitting, and reading.

Janet is survived by her twin sister, Janice, and brothers, Ronnie and Ricky Nichols. She was preceded in death by her husband, Champ; her parents; and brother, Roland.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.
