James Joseph Sorenson

Jimmy Sorenson born James Joseph Sorenson on March 30^th, 1954 to Dennis and Catherine Sorenson of Warren, MN. 

Jimmy was raised in Warren with his parents and two brothers Johnny and Danny.  The boys were raised on the race track where Jimmy developed a natural love for horse racing.  At age 19, he became a jockey and went on to race all over the United States and Canada.  He then moved to Idaho where he spent the next 20 years before returning to Arizona to be with his elderly mother.  Jimmy moved to the White Mountains to be near family until his death at age 64 on May 30^th, 2018.

He leaves behind two children Travis (Mimi) and Amber Sorenson, 7 grandchildren; Tyler, Chase, Kolton, Chubby, TJ, Kaylee, and Gracie; Brother Danny (Donna) and sister-in-law Judy Sorenson.
