James W. Brister

James (Jim, JW, Dub) W. Brister, passed on to the Lord Monday, December 3, 2018 at home in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona.  He was born to Lydia Sockett on September 25, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He loved the mountains, hiking, fishing, hunting and in general the beauty and serenity it offers.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Parr; his daughters, Robin Reilly, Emily Pandelakis; son, Ethan Parr; brothers, Talbert Brister, Jess Brister, Elvis Sockett and 5 grandsons and 3 granddaughters.

He is preceded in death by two daughters, Suzi Nelson and Mary Brister.

Services will be held at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~ White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9^th Street, Show Low 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2018.
