Jack Duhame Biggs, 90 years old, son of Frank Peircy and Ruby Mae Biggs was born December 13, 1931. Jack passed away peacefully in Snowflake, Arizona on May 2, 2022 with his loving wife, Sylvia Harper Biggs and family at his side.
Jack and Sylvia were sealed in Mesa, Arizona Temple June 1, 1956. They have 6 children, 28 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren with three great grandchildren on the way.
He spent his entire life in Phoenix attending Balsz School, Phoenix Technical School and was a graduate from ASU, Industrial Arts. He obtained a private pilot’s license while attending ASU and later was partial owner of his own airplane. He served in the Army branch of the military from 1952-1954, during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Harper Biggs; his children, Brinda and (Patrick) Loss, Suzette and (Bill) Weyer, Kathy and (Brent) Cassidy, Keith Elton and (Ruth) Biggs, Laura and (Todd) Slade, and Jennifer and (Russell) Kruse, all his grandchildren and great grandchildren, his brother Bill and (Peggy) Biggs. He is proceeded in death by his father and mother and one son-in-law, Phil Schofield.
He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and dedicated many years of service as Bishop, Bishop’s counselor, High Council member, Elders Quorum President, High Priest group leader, Temple Ordinance worker, as well as served two church missions in American Samoa and Martins Cove, Church historical sight, Wyoming. Jack was a “Jack” of all trades.
There was nothing he couldn’t fix or create. He always loved the mechanics of how things functioned or were made and looked for ways to make things better and more efficient. He always found the joy in life and focused on the positive.
