Isaiah Whitefox Redbird Jr

Isaiah Whitefox Redbird, Jr., affectionately known as Zay Zay, 15, passed away September 16, 2022, in Phoenix, AZ. 

Zay Zay was a strong, outgoing, kindhearted adventurous goofy boy. He enjoyed making people laugh when they were sad. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, looking for antlers, swimming and making woods. He enjoyed spending time skateboarding, boxing and playing video games with his friends. He loved visiting his grandpa, where they would sing pow wow songs with his drum group. Though he enjoyed many things, his passion was spending time with and protecting his 6 sisters. 

He is preceded in death by his sister Illiana Marie Redbird, grandmother Mary Vickland, uncle Kenzie Aday, and grandparents Lester and Alice Kasey.

Zay Zay is survived by his mother and step-father Samathea and Joshua walker; father Isaiah Whitefox Redbird, Sr.; sisters MaryAnn Redbird, Twilina Redbird, Naomi Redbird, Avona Redbird, Ariana Redbird, and Paislee Walker; maternal grandparents Andrena and Darrell Gordon and Samuel and Marcy Opah; paternal grandparents Timothy and Ellie Mae Redbird; aunties Alicena Nez (Elijah), Fayette Opah, Angel Gordon, Melody Redbird Post (Steven), Tashina Pomani, and Angelaura Pomani; uncles Bilson Opah, Terren Opah, Josh Opah, David Gordon, SunDance Redbird, Ahkeesha Pomani, and Tahle Redbird, along with a host of extended family members and friends.
