Greta Ann Ethelbah of Whiteriver, Arizona passed away on August 21, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. She was 71. Greta was born on April 5, 1950 in Safford, Arizona to her parents the late Cecil and Eliza (Sanchez) Cook.
Greta lived her life for her family and looked forward to their many fishing trips to Hawley Lake. She enjoyed joyriding with her husband and constant companion of 46 years, Earl, while listening to the “oldies.” Her hobbies included cooking, sewing and crafting but mostly anything that had to do with being with Earl.
She is survived by her forever sweetheart Earl Ethelbah of Whiteriver; daughters, Vina (Bernardo) Palmer, Earlita Ethelbah and Earlena (Benjamin) Crocker all of Whiteriver; step-children, Rebecca (Dion) Moody, Janice (Tony) Rico, Pearlena Paxson and Harold (Sylvia) Ethelbah all of Whiteriver; 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; God daughter, Nolando Cira Altaha and many extended family members and friends.
A one night wake will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at the family home in East Fork, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Riverside Church in East Fork with interment to follow in the Mission View Cemetery.
