Gloria Hunt

In loving memory of Gloria G. Hunt, a cherished daughter, mother, and friend, whose light shone brightly throughout a life dedicated to family, faith, and service. Gloria, born on November 21, 1928, in Shelly, MN, radiated kindness and love until her peaceful passing on June 1, 2024, in Pinetop, AZ.

With an unmatched spirit, Gloria devoted herself to her role as a secretary as well dabbling in real estate. She left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. Her warm smile and unwavering dedication endeared her to colleagues and students alike.

Gloria's legacy extends beyond her professional life; she was a pillar of strength for her loved ones. As a devoted mother, she and her husband, Albert "Al" Hunt, raised four children; Lynne, Bert, Janette "Janny" and Corky (Deanna). The couple fostered a home filled with joy and laughter.

A woman of deep faith, Gloria shared her musical talent by playing the organ at her church and actively participating in church activities. Her volunteer work with hospice in the White Mountains showcased her compassionate nature and desire to comfort those in need.

In her leisure time, Gloria found joy in simple pleasures, such as sharing lunch with friends, entertaining family and friends with her vibrant personality, and engaging in various activities with her beloved sisters and children. Her most favorite past time was visiting the casino, she loved the employees and they loved her back. Her zest for life and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

A celebration of Gloria's remarkable life will be held in the future, where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor her memory. Gloria's memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call her a friend or family member.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Hospice Compassus or The Humane Society in Gloria's memory. May her legacy of love, kindness, and service continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.

Let us remember Gloria G. Hunt not with tears, but with smiles, as we reflect on a life rich with love, laughter, and boundless compassion. Her spirit will forever remain a source of strength and comfort to those who were touched by her unwavering grace and generosity.

Gloria was preceded in death by: Albert Hunt, Hans Gilbertson, Ida Gilbertson and Nicholaus McComack.

She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother to many. Gloria left behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Eternal be her memory.
