George G. Montague, of Snowflake, Arizona passed away on April 11, 2019 at his home in Snowflake. He was 75. George was born on July 25, 1943 in Tucson, Arizona to his parents the late, Charles D. and Stella (Gonzales) Montague.
George was a United States Army Veteran having served with the Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged after his faithful service. George worked for Kaiser Steel and GAF in Fontana, California for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Montague; daughter, Michelle McLaughlin (Chris); son, George Montague (Nan); step-sons, Robert Miranda (Renee) and Jeff Miranda (Yvonne); 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Montague (Ilse); sister, Dolores Montague and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Jr. and sister, Alice.
The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Our Lady of The Snow Catholic Church, 1655 Main Street, Snowflake. The Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment will be held at 10:15 a.m.. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
