Forrest Zachary Touchstone

August 18, 1993 — October 1, 2018

Forrest Zachary Touchstone, 25, died on October 1, 2018 on Lamine River Conservation Area.

From his birth in Show Low, Arizona August 18, 1993 to his death, Forrest spent his life trying to learn as much as he could and trying to make an impact on every single person he met.

Forrest spent his days hunting, fishing and loving his wife and daughter with every ounce of his being. From tee ball to high school football, he spent his childhood playing sports and challenging himself physically to always be better. He was joined in marriage to his High School Sweetheart on June 29, 2013 surrounded by friends and family.

In July 2014 Forrest joined the US Air Force to serve his country and later that year moved with his wife to Whiteman AFB in Missouri. He joined his CSC family in 2017 on base where he created lasting friendships and was given a purpose that he was honored to have.

On October 14, 2017 Raegan Marie Touchstone was born to Forrest and Katie. Despite all of Forrest’s ambitions, his number one was to be a good father. Forrest loved Raegan from the second he knew about her. He formed a Father-Daughter bond with her that was unmatched and unwavering. He was full of pride for her and would tell any passerby how much he loved her. She will grow up to know the man he was, and his love will always find her.

Forrest pursued his college degree in Criminal Justice while making time to hunt, bass fish and hike in the Missouri country. As a jack of many trades, Forrest began forging knives and had the dream to grow a company called “Touchstone Knives” where his talent for metalwork and design would grow.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Barton Touchstone in 2012. He is survived by his wife, Katie Touchstone; daughter, Raegan Touchstone; Mother and Step-Father, Anne and Bryan Lang; 2 Brothers, Garrison and Chandler Touchstone; 3 sisters, Brooklynn, Brynlynn and Lanae Lang; Grandparents, Gary and Cheryl Onnen, Otis Touchstone and Gerry Shaw-Moloney; as well and many extended family and in-laws.

Forrest put his family and friends above everything else in this world. His love and ability to make people laugh will never be forgotten.
