Ethelyn Hall Ervien, loving wife and mother, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Ethelyn (Effie) was born on November 21, 1940 in Snowflake, Arizona where she was raised. She married her high school sweetheart, Dale Ervien, on October 26, 1957. She raised a family of six and also had a successful professional career. After graduating from Lamson Business College, she worked as a legal secretary for the Industrial Commission of Arizona. She also worked at the BYU Counseling Center and later worked for the US Postal Service. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in numerous callings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Annella Hall, and sisters Eleanor Hall and Janelle Turley. She is survived by her husband, Robert "Dale" Ervien and her 6 children; Amy (Jack) Branin, Julie (Mel) Willis, Dale (Nan) Ervien, II, Billy (Lyndee) Ervien, Megan (Mike) Bowman and Amanda (Marshall Keelan) Ervien, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and her brothers; Nardene, Bob and Arno Hall.
The funeral service will begin 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2018, at the Main Street Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 48 Main Street in Snowflake, Arizona where the visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M that morning. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.
