Emma LaVerne Thrasher

Emma LaVerne Thrasher, born December 8, 1927 in Chandler, Oklahoma slipped quietly out of this world on December 9, 2022. All who knew her loved and admired her for her talents and displays of compassion for those in need. She served others through numerous callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints during her many years of activity. 

Nieces and nephews lovingly called her "Aunt Pete," her grandchildren called her "Gammy." She was the mother of five children and later in life, mom to two step-children. 

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Leo Dale Thrasher, both her mother and father, sister and brother, and four of her seven children. 

Private services will be held at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, Arizona.
