Our Family is completely heartbroken with the news that our sweet daughter,
Ellaina Grace, was involved in a single car accident on her way to work in Flagstaff, on December 26, 2021
Ellaina, our beautiful first born daughter, had a creative way of expressing love and
compassion to others that was beyond special. Each interaction shared with Ellaina
was filled with a genuine love that most of us know will be impossible to replace and
could never be forgotten. After graduating from Blue Ridge High School in 2019,
Ellaina moved to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University. Ellaina started
working as a barista at Starbucks at the age of 16 and became an irreplaceable model
of connection and genuine nurturer of the human spirit.
Ellaina was a Marvel fanatic, craved The Office, and frequently enjoyed watching
Friends. Earlier this year, she adopted a puppy, Oakley, who became a close
companion.
All who became close with Ellaina from high
school up to her years in college acknowledged the precious gift that she was in
all of our lives.
At her baby dedication, a pastor spoke over Ellaina saying she would represent
Light. From that time forward, she was recognized as a true bearer of light not
because of what was said but because of who she was to those she loved.
Now and forever, we recognize Ellaina who represented that Light and who taught us
the meaning of Grace. Your wonderful smile and smothering hugs will be sorely
missed, our dearest daughter, sister, friend.
We will forever love and miss you Laney Grace our beautiful “Pearls”.
