Doyle Reese Hatch

January 23, 1933 — July 15, 2020

Doyle Reese Hatch passed away on July 15, 2020, in Fort Worth, Texas following a short illness.  He was born January 23, 1933, in Taylor, Arizona to the late Vern Hatch and Lena (Pearce) Hatch.

Doyle was a veteran of the United States Army, and served during the Korean War. He also worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator. Doyle loved the rural and cowboy lifestyle as a cattle rancher. He was involved in many facets of the ranching industry including skills in horse shoeing, auctioneering, roping events, and training horses. He also sold horse trailers and built and worked the livestock auction yard in Sun Valley, Arizona.  During his life, Doyle had called many areas in Arizona "home" as well as several places in Nevada.  His final home was in Poolville, Texas, where he lived for the past years. 

Doyle loved his wife and family so very much.  He was lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a deep and abiding faith in the Savior of the world.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Shirley Hatch of Poolville, Texas; 2 daughters:  Cindy Cook of Reno, Nevada, Traci Hatch Shehady (and Daniel) of Poolville, Texas; his stepdaughter, Terri Lira (and Monty Lira) of Chino Valley, Arizona. Doyle is also survived by his sister, Janice Winkler of Queen Creek, Arizona and by a brother, Paul Hatch of Taylor Arizona. There will be a graveside service at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona beginning at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, for all his friends and family who would like to say goodbye...
