Dennis Wayne Vance, a proud Army Vietnam Combat Veteran was born on March 22, 1949, to Carl Leroy and Marbry Vance. He passed away on November 15, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.
Known for his lovingly stubborn nature, Dennis had a deep passion for hunting and fishing, indulging in these pastimes whenever he could. His commitment to family, God and Country was unparalleled, Evident in the warmth with which was shared with his ten siblings and numerous nieces and nephews and those maintained relationships.
In March of 1967 Dennis heard the call to serve his country and did so honorably in the United States Army until December of 1969 when he received his honorable discharge, obtaining the rank of SP 4.
Survived by his devoted siblings, Carl Leroy Vance Jr. (Margie), Janice Gilmore, Cindy Tester, Dahl Vance, Boyce Vance, Penny Lilly (Mark) and Pollyanna Adams (Roy), and his Oklahoma Family.
Dennis is proceeded in death by his parents, Carl and Marbry Vance; siblings, Judy Daniel, Kerry Vance and Shane Vance.
Dennis Vance's memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know him. A man of strength and integrity, he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity.
An accomplished welder by trade, Dennis lived in Arizona for 25 years before moving to Oklahoma where he called home for nearly 50 years. It wasn't until 2023 when Dennis decided to move back to Arizona to be closer to family.
Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate the life of Dennis Vance at a graveside service that will be held at the Show Low Cemetery at 11:00 am Saturday, November 23, 2024 where Dennis will be laid to rest.
In the presence of his loved ones and under the vast skies he so adored, we will bid farewell to Dennis Vance, a remarkable soul who leaves behind a proud legacy of family, love, and cherished memories. He will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of strength and love.
