Delmore Taylay

Delmore Taylay, age 59 passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 6, 2025 in Cibecue, Arizona. He was born on February 9, 1966 to to Howard Taylay and Sybil Bullock Gatewood.

Delmore never met a stranger, he was know by many and loved his friendships, he loved attending Church and felt the love of our Lord and Savior. Delmore loved to go fishing, camping and long walks.

Delmore is survived by his siblings, Phoebe Maria, Denzo Jefferson and Dorance Thomas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Taylay and Sybil Gatewood; siblings, Lawrence Gatewood and Evangeline Tsinnijinnie.

A one night wake will begin at 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 17, 2025 at 17 N. Tessay Road, Cibecue, Arizona. Funeral Services will begin at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Cibecue Lutheran Church. Concluding Services and Interment will be in the Open Range Cemetery next to his father.
