David Vincent Platt, 41, passed away October 9, 2023.
He was born in Show Low but grew up in St John’s. He graduated Salutatorian from St John’s High School and received numerous awards for playing football and as a Linebacker for the SJHS Redskins. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Spanish speaking Idaho-Pocatello Mission.
David graduated Doctor of Dental Surgery with high honors at the University of the Pacific. He moved to Lakeside where he established his dental office, Platt Family Dental. David married Stephanie in 2008. They were together for 15 years and have two wonderful children, David and Alexandra.
David’s funeral will be held on Saturday, October 21,2023 at the Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1520 Church Lane, in Pinetop-Lakeside. The viewing will be held from 9:00-10:15 A.M., with funeral services to follow at 10:30 A.M.
Burial will follow in Show Low Cemetery.
