Danny Misner

Danny Misner was a longtime resident of Lincoln County, NM and Show Low, AZ. He went home to be with the Lord on July 28, 2019 with his loving wife of 53 years, Vanita, by his side.   Danny was born in 1943 in Carrizozo, NM to Floyd and Beulah Misner.

He is survived by three siblings, Tommy Misner of Glencoe, NM, Florence Hensley and Betty Stagner of Los Lunas, NM.   Danny’s daughters are Sherry Treadwell (Darren) and Joy Sturza (John) of Roswell, NM.    He is Papa to his grandchildren Lisa, Adam, Laura (Shane), Brand, Ride, Shiloh and Joseph.   Papa Arizona to Maddy, Nolan, Sky, Zeke, Finley and Maeve.   Danny will be missed by his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Danny retired from Frontier Communications after 45 years of service. Danny had a passion for woodworking and made beautiful furniture for others.   He loved his family at Show Low First Baptist Church and serving them.  The outdoors brought him such joy up until the day he passed away.

There will be no services per Danny’s request. He enjoyed all the visits and calls from friends and family in his last days.  In lieu of flowers please send a donation to NM Baptist Children’s Home in Portales NM.  NMBCH.com
