Danielle Marie LaVoie McCulley

Danielle was born in Long Beach, California, on August 3, 1969. Her early years were spent in Lakewood, CA, not too far down the street from her Lolo and Lola.

In her teen years, she moved to Louisiana to live with us. She lived there about 5 years and then moved back to California. The next few years brought the arrival of Alisha and Tiffaney. She then met and married Ryan, and Jordan and Renae came along. They bought a house in Hemet. She went to nursing school and became a nursing assistant. Due to a back injury while working, she had to quit being a caregiver except for her Lola. When Lola needed help, Danielle would drive with the girls from Hemet to Murrieta every day to care for her Lola. Danielle finally needed back surgery in 2007 and had continuous difficulty from it ever since.

She married Jon in 2011 and they lived in Arkansas for several years before moving back to California. Their final move was to Arizona where she was residing when she passed away on May 23, 2023.

She was preceded in death by: Her brother, Emil Joseph LaVoie; Maternal grandfather, Wallace Ellsworth; Paternal grandparents, Emil and Irene LaVoie; Mother, Beth Ellsworth Albertson; Husband, Jon McCulley; Mitchell Albertson, father of Alisha and Tiffaney.

Danielle is survived by:  Maternal grandmother, Retta Ellsworth; Parents, Daniel and LaVonne LaVoie; Father-in-law, Gene McCulley and step Children, Jonathan and Jasmin McCulley; Ryan Cunningham, father of Jordan and Renae; Sisters, Brandie (Danny) Jenkins, Christine (Byron) Racca, and Michelle (Justin) LeBleu; Brothers, Daniel Joseph LaVoie, Geoffrey (Shea) Burns and Chris (Rachel) Short; Daughters, Alisha (Eddie) Cordero, Tiffaney (Mike) Coyne, Jordan (Hunter) Hartley and Renae (Devin) Eck; grandchildren, Elexy Maizares, Trevor Burns, Prestton Lutz, Tom and Leal Coyne, Tyler James, and Isla Hartley; Aunts, Gail Ellsworth Harper and Daria LaVoie; Uncles, Brian Ellsworth, Ralph (Kathy) LaVoie and Joseph LaVoie; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
