Daniel Serna Padilla

Daniel Serna Padilla, the third son born to Adolfo and Rita Padilla on January 17, 1961 in Winslow, Arizona, passed away January 11, 2019 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his father Adolfo and his eldest brother Orlando Padilla.  Dan grew up in Holbrook along with his brothers and a large family of uncles, aunties, cousins & friends. 

Growing up they spent much of their time playing neighborhood sports and thus, Dan became an accomplished athlete and mentor in his high school years.  Dan married early and was blessed with a beautiful family, Aaron, Amanda, Sarina, Jasmine and Jordan Padilla and grandchildren Noah, Isaiah, Josiah, Joshua, Lily Rose, Rowan Amelia and Baby Wade.

Of equal blessing to Dan were his many precious nieces and nephews and their beautiful children.  We are ALL so very blessed by the Love and Grace extended to our family and to each other at this time.  La Familia 

The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 225 E. Arizona Street, Holbrook with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. The interment will follow in the Holbrook Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Holbrook Catholic Charities in Daniel’s name.
