Curtis Bourke

Curtis Bourke of East Fork, Arizona passed away on November 20, 2018 at the Haven of Show Low. He was 84. Curtis was born on September 13, 1934 in East Fork to the late James and Kitty (Savage) Bourke.

Curtis worked for various places throughout his life. He was employed as a logger in Heber, Maverick and Eagar, Arizona. He was a custodian at the Memorial Hall in Whiteriver, the Behavioral Health in Whiteriver under the LAMP program, the East Fork Trading post and lastly he was the Custodian Supervisor for a nursing center in Whiteriver where he retired.

He loved watching movies, reading books and spending time with his grandkids; they loved his hugs.

He is survived by his sisters, Virginia (Ramsey) Burnette of East Fork, Margilynn Goseyun of Tucson, Arizona, Roberta Talkali of Bylas, Arizona and Yvonna Redsteer of Whiteriver, Arizona; nieces, Delphina Albert and Florinda White of East Fork, Patricia Walker of Canyon Day, Arizona, Alamalee White, Selorita Pusher, Verla Pusher and Bernadine Pusher of East Fork, Jane Bourke of Carrizo, Arizona, Anita Andreas of Whiteriver, Bernadine Brown and Redona McIntosh of San Carlos, Arizona and Genevevie Chinche of East Fork; nephews, Dell White, Ardell White and Roscoe Pusher, Sr. of East Fork, Jimmy Bourke of San Carlos, Ardy Bourke of Carrizo, Preston Bourke of Cibecue, Arizona, Wallace Bourke, Jr. of Whiteriver, Joe Bourke of San Carlos and Eldon Declay, Sr. of East Fork.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wallace Bourke, Sr.; sisters, Florence Pusher and Flora White as well as a granddaughter, Delvena Lewis.

A one night wake will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the family home, 4810 White Street, East Fork. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the Riverside Church in East Fork. Interment will follow in the Manzanita Cemetery in East Fork.
