Coralee Donaldson

Coralee "Mema" Donaldson, born in McNary Arizona on January 23, 1939, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Show Low Arizona. She was a beloved figure in her community, known not only for her kindness and warmth but also for her dedicated service as a nurse for an impressive 63 years.

Coralee's passion for nursing was evident to all who know her. She began her journey by attending Nursing school at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, which laid the foundation for a remarkable career. Over the years, she worked tirelessly at Whiteriver Indian Hospital, Navapache Hospital, and even served as a flight nurse - touching the lives of many with her compassionate care and professionalism.

Beyond her professional achievements, Coralee was a woman of many talents and interests. Growing up in Lakeside Arizona, she developed a deep love for horses, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and canning. These passions brought joy not only to her but also to those lucky enough to receive one of her beautifully crafted creations.

In reflecting on Coralee's life, it is clear that family meant everything to her. She is survived by her children Robyn McNeil, Donna Donaldson, Kenny Donaldson, DeeDee Baldonado and her bonus kid Katie Hunt; her brother Nolan Coplan (Bea); 6 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Each of them carries with them a piece of Coralee's enduring legacy - a legacy built on love, strength, and unwavering dedication.
