Clifford James Montoya

On December 22, 2022 we unexpectedly lost our beloved Clifford James Montoya a brother, son, uncle and husband. He was born in Keams  Canyon, Arizona on July 22, 1978.

He grew up in Whitecone and Holbrook with his mother and siblings. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 1997 and earned a Radiologic  Technologist degree at Apollo College in 2006.

He lived in Phoenix, Arizona, Beaverton, Oregon and recently Avondale, Arizona. Clifford enjoyed  collecting sports memorabilia and was a sports fan of the LA Lakers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals and recently the Phoenix Suns. He enjoyed camping, fishing and going to car shows. He favored the Batman comics and movies, toys and games.

He married Philberta L. Peterson in November 2017. He enjoyed watching tv series with his wife and searching for rare comic books.

Clifford is survived by his wife, Philberta; his mother, Bessie Lou Montoya; his siblings, Susan Montoya, Ervin Montoya, Marissa Ahasteen,  Justin Ahasteen, Elliot Scott, Teresa Montoya, Albert Montoya Jr. and Manuel Montoya.

A viewing will be held 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~Holbrook Chapel, 409 N. 1st Ave, Holbrook with the funeral service to follow at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow the services at the Holbrook Cemetery.
