Charlotte Helaine Crow ~ A life well lived and a heart so deeply loved.

Charlotte Helaine Crow passed away unexpectedly in Scottsdale, Arizona on September 28, 2024, surrounded by her husband of 44 years and her loving family. Charlotte was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin on August 31, 1944, the daughter of Christian John II and Betty Jane Dahmer, who both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son Wade Denton Camp, sister LeeAnn (Stewart) Colegrove and brother Christian John Dahmer III.

Charlotte married Glen, the love of her life on March 7, 1980. She is also survived by her daughters, Shelly (Ron) Lanagan, Rochel Boothe and Glenda Crow (Curtis Boldman), granddaughters, Cassie (Cynthia) Georgian and Jenna (Drew) Martin, Ashley (William) Walker, Stephanie (Nathan) Hilton, Kylie Boothe, Brooke (Patrick) Snyder, Kristie (Colton) Walentiny, Andrea Lawlor, Veronika (Freddy) Campa, Talan Emery, Nicole Vaughan, grandsons, Blade (Ashley) Camp, Adrian Lawlor, Joe Hendrick, great-grandchildren, Kaylee Setzer, Ella Georgian, Carson Martin, Ryan Villalobos, Liam and Quinn Hilton, Brynleigh and Braelynn Camp, Maverick Walentiny, Kohen, Aviana and Victoria Walker, Ethan and Dylan Lawlor, Exodus and Adrian Campa and Annabelle and Preston Vaughan, nieces, Jacqueline and Tracey Colegrove and Heather Freudenthaler along with many friends who will dearly miss her joyous smile and passionate personality.

Charlotte began her long career in management and leadership positions while still in her 20’s at U-Haul company in downtown Phoenix. She loved to teach and lead her teams toward company goals and built strong teams helping each individual in her team be successful to work well together towards those goals. She left U-Haul to begin work in the Behavioral Health field in the business office, with Phoenix Camelback, Samaritan Health and then Terros. Charlotte retired from her long term team at Terros in 2011. She and Glen moved to the White Mountains in retirement where they enjoyed fishing and traveling and spending time with friends and family. Charlotte was called to return to work and worked with the White Mountain Community Counseling Center which later became Change Point. Following her second retirement in 2022, Charlotte began to volunteer at the local VFW as a lifetime VFW Auxiliary member where she dedicated her time to helping a valued organization which honors our precious Veterans. Freedom is not free, it was paid for with a price from the Revolutionary war through today.

Charlotte loved gathering with family and friends and frequently hosted annual neighborhood gatherings and celebrations with her beloved husband Glen at their home in Lakeside. She and Glen are avid sports fans and watched all of the Arizona sports teams as well as college football throughout the years. Charlotte loved both watching and playing sports. She played softball and women’s football while in her 20’s and enjoyed bowling until our last bowling alley sadly closed. Charlotte and Shelly attended the Arizona Cardinals games as season ticket members since 1988, initially in Tempe and then making the drive to the Valley Glendale Stadium for nearly 100% of the games over the last 36 years the Cardinals have been in Arizona. Charlotte also spent time in the White Mountain bingo circles and regularly enjoyed playing at several locations where she made longtime friends and helped in each of the organizations where she played.

Charlotte’s passion for life, love and dedication to her family and friends, leaves lasting memories of her joyous smile and the love she had for all of us. A memorial for Charlotte will be held at the Show Low VFW on Saturday November 2, 2024 @ 1:00pm, 381 N. Central Ave, Show Low, 85901.
