Ted Heath

December 4, 1946 — July 13, 2024

Charles (Ted) Heath, 77, passed away on July 13, 2024, in Snowflake, AZ. Son of Bessie L. Heath (Eldridge), and Charles (Chub) Heath, he was born December 4, 1946 in Winslow, Arizona.

He graduated from Winslow High School in 1964 and was drafted to the Army shortly after, serving proudly during Vietnam, though stationed mainly in Germany. He married the love of his life Judy Musgrove in July 1966, right after basic training. He loved the many friendships he acquired over the years with those he served with and those he worked with at the Snowflake Paper mill and SRP in St. John's and later in Phoenix. He had several church friends he cared for.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, son in law, aunts and uncles, and many beloved cousins.

He is survived by his wife Judy; their children: Joanie Williams of Springfield, Mo; Charles (Buddy) Heath and wife Bea of Tempe AZ; Janice Escochea and husband Sam of Surprise AZ; Jason Heath and wife Rachel of Buffalo, MO.; his brother, Bill Heath (Dana); 8 Grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ted was a deeply beloved Dad and Papa (Papa-bear to many). While we lost our most beloved dad, like us - many have lost a great friend and mentor. He has been a rock to many, a master at storytelling and the best witty timing. He loved God above all, and we are at peace knowing he is in the presence of Jesus.

We invite you all to share pictures and/or memories.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 18th, at Valley View Baptist Church, 1212 S. Main St.,  in Snowflake Arizona. The service will be streamed through Facebook Live on Ted's Facebook Page and may be reviewed there at a later date.
