Catherine Dale

Catherine Dale died February 25, 2021, at her home in Holbrook, Arizona, of natural causes.  She was 78 years old.  Catherine was born on April 24, 1942, in Houck, Arizona to her parents, the late Harold and Dorothy (Yazzie) Gordon.  

Her family is grateful for her "no nonsense and tough love" approach in raising them.  They all grew up to be respectable people and raised forthright families of their own.  She worked as a Teacher's Aide as well as a cafeteria worker and custodian for the Holbrook School District. 

Catherine is survived by her children:  Diana (Carlos) Jimenez of Holbrook, Nathaniel (Joann) Gordon of Qatar, Valentina Carmines of Holbrook, Veronica Dale of Holbrook; siblings:  Basil Gordon of Houck, Roland (Leita) Gordon of Albuquerque, NM, Fannie Murphy of Houck, Gilbert Gordon of Houck, Delbert (Jenny) Gordon of Ya-ta-hey, NM, Janet Gordon of Flagstaff, Mabel Gordon of Houck; 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 children:  Lena Dale, Gabriel Dale, Victoria Dale; and 3 siblings: Mabel Gordon, Edward Gordon and Arlene Baldonado. 

The funeral service was held Monday, March 8, 2021, at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Holbrook, Chapel.
