Carlo Jake Walker, affectionately called “Gregory”, passed away on December 11, 2022 in Mesa, Arizona. Carlo was born on April 16, 1985 in Phoenix, Arizona, at the Phoenix Medical Center to his father
Jacob L. Walker, and his mother,
Bernadette Moody Nelson.
Carlo graduated from Alchesay High School in 2004. He later went on to work in road construction for the Arizona Department of Transportation. He then, moved on to work for FATCO in the boiler department, and later to The City of Fountain Hills, where he performed many odd jobs. Other jobs Carlo held included the Salt River Landfill, Pima Reservation, and driving a tractor for the Grow-Well Company. Carlo was a jack of many trades.
Carlo was known for being very humble and friendly. He loved to joke around, and was an amazing artist. Carlo also enjoyed drawing and reading in his spare time. Hunting and fishing were also among his hobbies, and spending time with his family and friends.
Carlo is preceded in death by both parents.
He is survived by Lotus Manuel (who he helped take care of), brothers, Mark Wayne Walker, Brandon Lee Kasey, and Elias Walker; sister, Vera Rose Cooley “Angel”; his nieces, Brandi Kasey, Briana Kasey, Markayla Walker, Shekinah Kasey, and Selah Kasey; nephew,
Kalijah Angel Thomas, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews extended relatives and friends.
