Bruce Ralph Ackzen

Bruce Ralph Ackzen of Lakeside, Arizona passed away on March 7, 2021 in Show Low, Arizona. He was 71. Bruce was born on February 21, 1950 in Moline, Illinois to his parents, Ralph and Catherine (Reiley) Ackzen.

Bruce was an avid collector of vehicles, anything from Fords to motorcycles, Bruce collected them, worked on them and loved to share them with his family. He was hardworking and meticulously prepared. He retired from Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in 2015 after 26 years as Director of Plant Services.

Bruce loved taking care of his children and grandchildren and was a great brother among his many other wonderful qualities. He will be deeply missed by those whom he dearly loved.

Bruce is survived by his son, Chad Ackzen of Lakeside, Arizona; daughter, Brianna Beaubien of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Jacob Naranjo, Garett Naranjo and Braedon Ackzen; brothers, Brent Ackzen of Glendale, Arizona and Brian Ackzen of Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cynthia in 2014 and a daughter, November Ackzen Naranjo.

A Celebration of Bruce’s life will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Bruce’s house.
