Brenda Gardner Johnson

November 11, 1941 — March 3, 2018

Brenda Gardner Johnson, 76, passed away suddenly in her home on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018, in Woodruff, AZ. She was born on November 11, 1941 to John and Kathelene Gardner.   Brenda was a graduate of the University of Arizona where she earned a Master’s degree in Education. Her hobbies included genealogy work and writing. Brenda contributed to several historical books and documented the histories of many of her personal family members. Her last work will be a book she recently authored on the history of Woodruff.   She was married to Glen F. Johnson for over 54 years. Together they spent most of their married life in Oracle and Woodruff, AZ. She had many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints which she enjoyed dearly.   Brenda will be forever remembered by her husband, Glen; her children, Hope, Marsha, Mark, Steven, Kenny, Michael and Janelle; 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and her siblings Karen, Peggy, Arnold, Donny and Aleda.    She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Kathelene Gardner, and her siblings David, Max and Marvin.    Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the LDS Church located at 7791 Woodruff Rd, Woodruff, AZ.
