Antonio Del Rincon, 76, of Show Low, Arizona passed away from his battle with cancer on September 28, 2023, in his home, surrounded by family. Antonio grew up in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico, and received his B.S. in Agronomy Engineering with a specialty in Animal Husbandry from the School of Agriculture, University of Sonora in Hermosillo, Sonora Mexico. He later owned his own business, consisting of metalworking, welding machinery, and maintaining and repairing mining equipment.
Antonio married Ana S. Quiros on June 15, 1975 in Agua Prieta, Sonora Mexico. They shared 48 wonderful years together, raising their children in Douglas, Arizona, and later moving to Tucson, Arizona, before finally retiring in Show Low.
Antonio was an avid reader and an aviation enthusiast. His dream was to build an experimental airplane from plans and work towards earning a private pilot license.
He is survived by his spouse Ana, and children Victoria (Christopher) Escarcega, Gerardo Del Rincon, and Stefanie (Daniel) Scrivener, and six grandchildren, Celestine, Angelica, Cameron, Adam, Guillermo and Antonio. Also siblings: Mario (Evelyn) Del Rincon, Salome Del Rincon and Fernando Del Rincon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Salome (Mena) Frisby Del Rincon.
Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 215 S Craycroft Rd, Tucson, AZ 85711 on Monday, October 23, 2023 with Rosary beginning at 9:30 am and Funeral mass at 10:00 am. Coffee and desserts to follow in the parish hall.
