Antone Cruz entered eternal rest on March 21, 2023, in Lakeside, Arizona. Antone Cruz was born March 21, 2023, to the late Eva Lupe and Nelson Lupe Sr. Antone spent many of his earlier adult years rodeoing and made a living as a logger in the great outdoors of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to Indian contemporary music, and as a hobby he collected tapes, puzzles, and cultural inspirational items. He spent many of his days in the presence of his companion, the late Caroline Dickey. Antone was a man of strength, fortitude, and faith. He leaves behind his siblings: Leo Cruz, Annette Tenijieth, Everett Lupe, Pastor Gary Lupe (Berlita), Neysa Aguino, Minda Truesdell, Arlene Natan (Burton), and Vallery Bead, his uncle Patrick Cruz (Loretta), and Aunt Reva Burnette. Antone Cruz was a son, a brother, an uncle, a relative and a friend to many and he will be dearly missed. Antone will be brought home for one night wake on Monday March 6th, 2023 @ 10:00 a.m. in East Fork, Arizona. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 7th, 2023 @ 1:00 p.m. at the East Fork Lutheran Church in East Fork, Az. Antone held his family close to his heart and he will remain in the hearts of his family forever.
