Alan W. Crawford was born October 5, 1950, to Paul M. and Cleta L. Crawford (Lundy) in Winfield, KS. He moved with his family to various towns, ending up in Mooreland, OK, which he called his hometown, graduating high school there in 1968. After attending college, he began his career in the oilfield, specializing in electronics. Most of his career was in Houston, TX, but included stations in Saudi Arabia and Venezuela. He married his wife, Antonia, in 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Alan retired in 2015 and moved to beautiful Show Low, Arizona.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Lynda, and youngest son Kristofer. He leaves behind his best friend, partner in crime and the love of his life Toni. His oldest son Phillip (Kristi), Grandchildren Austin, Joshua, and Alyssa. Step-daughters Terri (Cesar) and Stephanie, Step-son Julian (Emelda), was blessed with several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and many dear friends and relatives.
Alan’s love for his fur-babies goes without saying, a daddy to Coco and Grandpa to Bella and Avi.
Many things that will be missed, his nightly jam headbanging sessions, listening to his favorite artist, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Beatles, Diana Krall and many many more. His love for Indian, Thai and Cuban food and especially his wife’s cooking.
What WE will miss most about Alan… his upspoken generosity to his family and friends!
