Agnes Ruth Trudgeon

Agnes Ruth Trudgeon passed from this life into her eternal life Feb. 27, 2019. She was born Sept. 13, 1934 to Adolph and Mary Schiewe, one of three siblings: Betty, Raymond then Agnes. 

Agnes graduated from high school being voted president of the junior class and was very involved in drama. She entered college in 1956 and graduated with an associates in Christian education with a minor in music. It was while she was in college she met her husband and they married in 1959. She then embarked on the most important part of her life, as military wife, mother and homemaker.

Agnes had three children: Debra, Kenneth and Karen, who were raised to adulthood. It was during this 30 years in the military that Agnes made at least four moves overseas by herself with the three children, to join her husband; ensuring the children were enrolled in their new school; preparing a new place to live and getting to know new neighbors. Agnes became involved in new church organizations at each location the family was stationed.

Agnes is survived by her husband, Duane Trudgeon; daughters Debra Kaye Trudgeon, Karen Maye Hullinger Long; and son Kenneth Raye Trudgeon; three grandchildren: Danielle Whisler, Bradley Carl Hullinger and Taylor Ruth Hullinger; and one great-grandson, Royce Hullinger Deras, the joy of her life. Through it all, Agnes always had a smile for everyone she met and provided support by giving to charitable organizations that supported children.

The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Valley View Baptist Church in Snowflake. All are welcome.
