Paul Frederick Patzke

      Paul Frederick Patzke, 84, passed away on January 31, 2018 in his sleep peacefully with Dotti Hall his longtime close friend and caregiver by his side. Paul was born in Port Huron, Michigan and grew up in Erie, Pennsylvania. Paul moved to Arizona in the late 1950’s first to Mesa then Holbrook and settled in Pinetop-Lakeside in the late 60’s. He was a carpenter and builder and has built many homes and business in the White Mountain area for many years. He was a very honest and hardworking man. His longtime friends Russ Kul and Ron Waldorf just to name a few, might even say that at times he was bit ornery. Paul is preceded by his parents, George & Edith Patzke of Florida and his wife of 23yrs, June S. Patzke.  Surviving is his older brother, John C. Patzke of Wisconsin and his wife Nancy, as well as his children, Scott A.  (Cathy) Patzke, Shelia (John) Shaw, Sharon (late Terry) Smith; his step-children, Brent (Charity) Petersen, Brad (Louise) Petersen, Craig (Dannet) Petersen, Brenda (Jared) Willis; also surviving is 30 grandkids and 48 great-grandkids. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity, if you don’t have one Operation Smile/or cleft palate is one of his and his brothers as they had cleft palate.
