Our Loving Mother & Grandmother went to be with her family in Heaven on Friday, January 26, 2018, with her children by her side at her home in Show Low. Shirley was born on Thursday, December 14, 1933 to the late John William & Virginia (Mills) Hall in Chandler, Arizona. She was the oldest of four children. Shirley attended school in Phoenix until the family moved to Show Low when she was 14. She then attended her Freshman year of High School at Snowflake Union High. After her Freshman year she began working for Ross Adams at Ross Café in Show Low, at which time she began caring for her mother and younger siblings. On August 24, 1951 she married Val Lee Reidhead. Together, they had 4 children. Shirley loved to crochet, knit, sew and bowl. She was extremely talented with her hands. She was known to sew shirts and pants for many in the community. She also has many trophy's that she received from bowling. Whether you were family or friends, you were always welcome in her home.Shirley had various jobs throughout her life. She worked for Ross Café, Show Low Flower Shop, Reidhead Lumber, was bookkeeper for the family logging company, and she was best known for being the homemaker of her home.Shirley is survived by her children, Rick (Dorothy) Reidhead, Jeri (Bill) Barnard, Kathy (Charles) Sprung and Lee Reidhead; 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings and their spouses, Roy Hall, LaVell Fejes, Elaine Stoddard, Lorraine Currence, Patty Hall, Sonny Hall.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
