Linda Joyce (Reeves) Taylor, age 77 passed away peacefully on December 29, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Linda was born on January 8, 1940 in Jamestown, California to parents Earl Raymond and Goldie Jewel Reeves. Linda had a hard time entering this world , as she was born 6 ½ months premature, and weighed two pounds, three ounces. The Sonora Fire Department worked with an inhalator nearly 12 hours and saved her life. She was then placed in an incubator for several weeks and was fed with an “eye-dropper.” Linda is survived by her son, Raymond James Taylor, of Henderson, Nevada, three grandchildren – Shelby White , Br ye Zee Taylor , Austin Taylor, four great grandchildren and her sister, Irva Lucille Whipple of Tempe, Arizona. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl and Violet Reeves and Goldie and James Rowland. Linda spent much of her life in Show Low, AZ and graduated from Snowflake High School. She worked in retail for many years and also as a cashier and a waitress. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. The public visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M., Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Owens Livingston Mortuary – White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9 th Street in Show Low, Arizona. The graveside service will immediately follow and begin at 4:00 P.M. at the Show Low Cemetery.
