Mabel Louise Wells

Mabel Louise Wells (Madie), 89 years, passed away on December 28, 2017 at Summit Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona.  She was born April 21, 1928 in Winner, South Dakota to Gilbert A. & Mabelle Josephine Vandenburg.Madie enjoyed swimming, making quilts and loved her flowers. She loved spending time with all her family and her very special four-legged friend named "Rylie".Madie is survived by four children; Mike Wells (Mary) of Prescott Valley, AZ., Randy Wells of Phoenix, AZ., Janice Darrow (Pete) of Show Low, AZ., and Angie Carmody (Gerry) of Lakeside, AZ.; 6 grandchildren, Bruce Wells, Laurie Madrigal, Kate Wells, Korey Wells, Dean McMains & Marty McMains; 11 great-grandchildren & sister, Laura Seemuth of Nixa, MO.She was preceded in death by her husband, Iver Reece Wells in 1978 and son, J. Patrick Wells in 1993.A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Solterra Senior Living Center, 5408 Highway 260 in Lakeside, AZ.
