Leroy Herman "John" King

Leroy "John" King passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona at the age of 70.  John was born on a Wednesday, August 13, 1947 in Sandusky, Erie County, Ohio to his parents, the late Amos and Kathleen (Freeman) King.  John, a resident of Heber-Overgaard, Arizona, was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  John dearly loved his family and is survived by his wife, Marilyn Huston King; 4 children:  Tara (Troy) Gibson, Kevin (RaChelle) King, Brian (Christin) King, Brandi (Kyle) Boyd, 3 step-children:  John (Miriam) Soubie, Brent (Violeta) Soubie, Laura (Duane) Tomlinson and by his 24 grandchildren.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an avid Cubs fan.  The funeral service for John will begin 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 22, 2017, at the Heber Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (right off of AZ Hwy 260 in Heber) where the viewing and friends' calling will begin one hour prior.  The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Heber Cemetery.  John's family is thankful for all of the expressions of sympathy they have received during this difficult time and are especially grateful for all of the prayers offered up on their behalf.
