John William Hall, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at the Carriage House in Snowflake, Arizona. He was born October 19, 1933 in Sugar City, Colorado to Frank Hall and Sylvia Legrande Hall. He graduated form Sugar City High School in 1951 where he was a Salutarian. As a young man he earned his Eagle Scout award. John served for 4 years in the United State Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from Ohio Northern University and worked as a Civil Engineer; he worked for the State of Arizona, ADOT, for 27 years. John married Angie during his college years and they moved to Holbrook in 1960. They owned and operated Angie's Flowers in Holbrook for many years. John did appliance repair and locksmithing after he retired. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. John was a member of the United Methodist Church. John is survived by his wife, Angie; 3 children: Roger Hall of Holbrook, Arizona, Tony Hall of Apache Junction, Arizona and Jerry (Crissy) Hall of Lakeside, Arizona. 8 grandchildren: Leza (Kyler), Heather, Dylan, Ashley, Hunter, Anabelle, Preston and Maxwell. 2 great grandchildren: Alexis and Riley. A brother: Marvin (Linda) Hall of Findley, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Holbrook United Methodist Church, 118 W. Arizona St. in Holbrook, Arizona. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 409 First Ave. in Holbrook, Arizona. Burial will take place at the Holbrook Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements were handled thru Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook, Arizona.
