Robert William "Bill" Baker, 74, passed away at his home in Adamana, Arizona on November 20, 2017, where he had been a long time resident and rancher. He was born on February 17, 1943 in Jerseyville, Illinois to Robert Baker and Alice (Fowler) Baker. In his early years, Bill pioneered roads in Bakersfield and Lake Isabella, California. He also worked in Real Estate and then settled into his true love which was Ranching. Bill built his home and ranch with his own hands. His passion was building and fixing things, he was a master mechanic and could fix anything from a toaster to a D-9 CAT.Bill was a beloved father of seventeen special needs foster children and a husband for many years.Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.
