Gabriel Dale Ogden

Angel and Tim Ogden and family mourn the loss of their infant son, Gabriel Dale Ogden, born November 1, 2017 at 6:58 A.M., and passed away November 1, 2017 at 8:00 A.M.  Gabriel had Anencephaly, a condition where major portions of the brain, skull and scalp do not develop, usually occurring during the early stages of embryonic development.  The medical world has not determined the cause and often parents are given the choice to continue with pregnancy knowing the outcome or having an abortion.  Angel and Tim were devastated at the news, but chose to give the baby a chance to live.  After Gabriel passed away they were asked if they felt they made the right choice considering the circumstances.  Their answer was a resounding "Yes."  They were able to meet him, hold him and show their love to a little guy who will be waiting for them to come and be with him eternally.Tim and Angel are grateful for the excellent care of Dr. Ben Richardson, the nursing staff at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center.  They are deeply appreciative of Owens Livingston Mortuary who cared for and handled the Graveside Services for Baby Gabriel.  They are overwhelmed at the kindness of anonymous individuals who selflessly sewed preemie cloths from donated wedding dresses, and knitted little hats and booties to make them available for Little Gabriel and other babies who come into the world for a short stay.Graveside Services were held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, Arizona.
