Rudolph "Red Nose" Roosevelt died Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Honor Health Care in Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was 65 years old. Rudolph was born in Carrizo, Gila County, Arizona on October 27, 1952, to his parents, the late Randolph Lawrence and Rose Ellen (Pinal) Roosevelt.Rudolph lived on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation his entire life. Rudolph earned his GED and worked many jobs throughout his life. In his later years, he earned an honest living by cutting wood. Often, he would donate wood to those in need. What he could give, he freely gave.We will miss his familiar truck, as it used to go out and about. Rudolph loved a good western novel his letters to family were full of life and fun; he expressed himself well.Rudolph is survived by his son, Daniel Truax; mother, Rose Pinal Roosevelt; sisters, Marjorie Hess, LeeAnn Roosevelt, Janet Craig, Valena Roosevelt, Darlene Roosevelt, Charlene Roosevelt; brother, Stephen Roosevelt. He was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Roosevelt; sisters, Rhonda, Melinda and Eleanor Roosevelt."We will miss you brother and friend and we will always remember your kindness. 'Till we meet again..." A 1-night wake will begin at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Roosevelt Home, 118 Canyon View, Carrizo, Arizona with Funeral Services beginning at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 13, 2017 at the Roosevelt Home. Concluding Services and Interment will be at the Carrizo Cemetery.
