Kathrine Sutter

Kathrine Sutter was born in Waco, Texas on August 18, 1927. As a four year old she moved to Arizona where she resided (except for 10 years in New Mexico), until her death on October 12, 2017. She died peacefully under Hospice Care after living a long full life.   Kathrine Miller was married to Kenneth Douglas “Doug” Green on December 21, 1946. Doug was killed in April 1947, Kathrine and their unborn daughter survived the accident. She married Henry Eldon Sutter on May 10, 1949. Together they raised four children. Throughout their nearly 59-years of marriage they worked together as farmers, contractors, and developers. Kathrine also worked many years in the White Mountains as a Real Estate Broker. She was preceded in death by her parents Maynard and Willie Miller, her first husband Kenneth Douglas “Doug” Green, her second husband Henry Eldon Sutter, her son Steve Sutter, and her younger siblings Carl, Betty Jo, Billy, Doris and Beverly. She is survived by her youngest sister Shirley and her husband, and her children:, Kathy Knight of Peoria/Lakeside, AZ, Vicky (Wayne) Richardson of Clovis, NM, and Ernest (Paula) Sutter of Lakeside, AZ; her daughter-in-law her: Barbara Sutter, 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly loved but never forgotten by her family, her church family, and a multitude of life-long friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21st 2017 at 10:30am at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 North Ninth Street, Show Low Arizona.
